The Society for local history Kastel e. V. 1980 "(GHK) on 26 September 1980 founded the community center of Mainz-Kastel. As the initiator is made of local historian Fritz Diehl earned. At the inaugural meeting were 25 citizens in the fields of economics, trade, banking and politics of the GHK.
