Initiators were the Kasteler Rector and local historian Gottfried Dorr and Mathias Beaury, Fritz Diehl, Lawrence Schott, Adolf Schuchmann, Dr. Josef Ebert, Humm Toni and Alex Witt. Gottfried served as first chairman Dorr. Ring the club belong to two representatives of the affiliated clubs.
